Important Tips For SAT I

Hi Folks.
Through My 9-years experience in teaching private schools" American SAT Preparing schools, I figured out some facts that I wanted to share with you.

1. The SAT I test makers say that no question in SAT I Math sections requires the use of calcualtor, but I prefer you use the calculator because under the stress of the test you will need it.

2. Some questions have drawings under which is written" not drawn to scale", here you cannot trust your eyes and you need to re-draw them.

3. If the question has no drawings, make your own drawing like a chart or a scketch that will help you so much.

4. If you have a question with 2 or more variables, you need to use some numbers of your own.( Assume some numbers)

5.If you use a SAT Review books like Princeton or Barrons, you will see so Often the term PITA, Which means Plug In The Answer".That is to plug the answers given in the list of choices (a-e) into the major equation of the question, and then see which one makes sense. Here We want to assure you that the answers in SAT are listed in Ascending Order, so we prefer you start at C. Then you decide if you willgo back for smaller values or ahead to get bigger values.
